Information We Collect and How It's Used
Information You Explicitly Provide
Via Order Form
To process your order, we require your name, billing address, phone number,
e-mail address, shipping address and, if appropriate, credit card information. We use this
information solely to process your order and, if any questions should arise,
to contact you about your order. In general, we will try to contact you
first by e-mail and only if that fails, or if time is critical, will we
try to contact you by phone. We share this information, and only that information
which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved
in the processing of your order. These may include the financial institution
that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your
order. In addition, some products sold on this site are delivered directly to our customers from the manufacturer. In those cases, your delivery information is shared with the company fulfilling your order. We prohibit these manufacturers from using your personal information for any purpose other than fulfilling your immediate order.
On some pages, you can submit information about other people. For example, if you order a gift online and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to submit the recipient's address. In this circumstance, the types of personal information collected are

Information We Automatically Collect
We record IP addresses in the aggregate for monitoring
the level of activity on our site, but we do not link this to your shopper
information with the following exception: When you place an order using
our online checkout process, we may correlate your IP address with your
order in cases of fraudulent credit card use. We may share this with the
financial institution, or with law enforcement authorities, if we determine use of the
credit card was fraudulent. We also use your IP address to help diagnose
problems with our server and to administer our Web site. Your IP address
is used to help identify you and your shopping cart and to gather broad
demographic information.
We use ShopSite e-commerce software from Open Market Technologies to operate our site and collect order
information from you. This software is running under license to us on servers
provided by Verio, Inc. Only we have access to information provided
by you through their secure server. The ShopSite system does store a cookie
containing your name and address information so that your browser will
remember this information if you become disconnected from the Internet
or if you should come back to our site for future purchases. You may disable
this function by setting your browser to not accept cookies.
Affiliate Links
If you entered our site by clicking a link on one of our affiliate web
sites, we store the ID of the affiliate. We do this to ensure the affiliate
receives proper credit for any subsequent order you might place. Your personally
identifiable information will not be shared with any affiliates.

Security
We utilize industry standard SSL encryption when accepting
your credit card information during our online checkout process. In addition,
we utilize the same encryption standard when transferring your credit card
data to our internal fulfillment system. To further enhance our security
measures, our fulfillment system is not accessible via the Internet and
we delete from our web site database all credit card information within
24 hours of filling your order.

Glossary of Terms
IP Address
When you are connected to the Internet, your computer has a unique Internet
ID called an IP address. Most people who connect through a dial-up service,
such as America Online, get a different IP address each time they log in.
Others might have a permanently assigned IP address, called a static IP
address. It is difficult or impossible for a web site to collect personal
information about you (i.e., your name, e-mail address, etc.) from your
IP address alone, though a static IP address makes this easier.
SSL Encryption
This is a method by which information transmitted across the Internet is scrambled
so it's virtually indecipherable by anyone who should intercept
the data before it reaches its destination. Most reputable online stores
make use of SSL encryption to request credit card information and other
sensitive data from their customers.
Cookies
A "cookie" is a small piece of information sent by a web server to store
on a web browser so it can later be read back from that browser. This is
useful for having the browser remember some specific information.
An HTTP cookie cannot be used to get data from your hard drive, get
your e-mail address or steal sensitive information about your person. Early
implementations of Java and JavaScript could allow people to do this but
for the most part these security leaks have been plugged.
